WHERE DOES THE HIGHER EDUCATION
FUNDING COME FROM?

The Colville Tribal Education Assistance Program (CTEAP) was created by resolution #1977-358 of the Colville Business Council for the purpose of assisting enrolled Colville Tribal members who wish to enhance their education in institutions of higher learning. The CTEAP is intended to support students at both full and part-time enrollment status, attending accredited post-secondary education institutions enrolled in business and commercial schools, vocational/technical institutions, and technological schools.

The Higher Education (HE) Grant is contracted from the Bureau of Indian Affairs with federal dollars. The intent is to support eligible enrolled Colville Tribal members with supplemental grants to engage in post-secondary liberal arts programs at a two or four-year college or university.

Must reflect financial need. Graduate and Senior level students are considered funding priority.

The CTEAP-HE Grant Application is available for students planning to attend college

Fall 2024 through Summer 2025.
